Releasing Irritability

Size the trigger honestly in the moment, instead of answering it at the size the backlog lent it.

$5.99

It's rarely the thing itself. Someone asks a question you've already answered, your keys aren't where they always are, a plan changes at the last minute with no say for you in it. None of it is a crisis — and yet the jaw sets, the breath climbs into the top of the chest, and a verdict arrives before you've thought anything at all. There's real relief in the sharp word or the shoved drawer, and that relief is exactly why the pattern holds: a few minutes later the room is quieter with you, and whatever actually put the charge there — the short sleep, the conversation you keep postponing, the load that's quietly become yours alone — is still completely untouched.

This session teaches one mechanism with two halves. The first is an in-the-moment sequence, run at the exact signal — the jaw tightening, the breath catching — that lets the heat rise to its peak and fall on its own, the way a wave has a top rather than climbing forever, while you ask one plain question: how big is this, on its own, with the backlog set aside for a second. Almost every time the honest answer is small, and you get to answer at that true size. It's built to be run while you still feel irritated — waiting to feel calm first is what keeps the pattern going. The second half is deliberate: naming the one unhandled thing adding the most charge in a single plain sentence, and taking one small, concrete step on it — a conversation put in the calendar with a real time attached, a bedtime set and kept once, one specific thing asked to come off your plate. Before the session ends you build your own version in your own words, and you're directed to write it down afterward.

What you'll actually get: a short single-voice induction, then a full dual-ear body using this catalog's layered 8D spatial audio — headphones required to hear it properly. Your left and right ear intentionally say different things at the same time; that's a long-used hypnotic principle, not a glitch, so don't strain to catch every word in either ear. This is built as a daytime or anytime session rather than a wind-down track, so it works sitting upright over a break or before walking back into a room that's been getting to you. It comes with a companion PDF booklet: the technique in plain written language, a fill-in-yourself if-then plan, and a real-world-use log.

This is a self-hypnosis and guided-imagery recording for general emotional-regulation practice, not a treatment for a diagnosed condition, and it doesn't replace professional care or guarantee a particular outcome. If irritability is severe, escalating, frightening to you or others, or tied to a mental-health condition or substance use, please speak with a doctor or therapist. Not for use while driving or operating anything that needs your attention.
